I ran Clone (with Any DVD 3.2.1.1) for the first time with a +RW (wanted to check it out without making coasters), and it ran flawlessly. Also like you said "good but slow", look around this site or doom9 and you will find that most times you have to sacrifice time to get better results. Doesn't matter how many programs you have doing it, the same basic process has to occur, so no, it should not be a LOT faster. Ummm it doesn't matter if it's one program or three, the same process still needs to be done. Should be a little faster.if not a LOT faster.
Please correct me if I am wrong but one program to hd to dvd "Is clonedvd this slow for everyone? I am not impressed. Basically if I'm doing a DVD that is giving IC problems, I do it in CloneDVD, so far between the two programs, I have not encountered a DVD that I could not copy.ĭeep Analysis for better quality (ala DVDShrink and IC). I also like that it is very easy to retain menus (unlike DVDShrink).

There have been times where I remove certain items with IC, and the DVD crashed my software dvd player.
I like it better than IC, in that it seems to be more forgiving in terms of selecting which extras to keep. It beats InstantCopy in speed though, as it does not have to do the extra analysis that IC has to. CloneDVD produces relatively good quality DVDs, however it cannot match InstantCopy in terms of quality. I currently use CloneDVD with DVD Decrypter or Pinnacle InstantCopy 8 with DVD Decrypter.
